Floata Seafood Restaurant 富大海鮮酒家, Vancouver (Chinatown)
Cold. Stale. Sour. Floata Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown is one of the few venues in BC who is able to host a banquet with over 100 tables. But this doesn’t mean they serve quality ingredients. Push carts means circulated food. Much like a nerd on prom night. Unwanted. The dim sum will be cold and showered with saliva as your lovely servers tells to hard sell left overs repackaged from the night before. A word of caution do not pity pick any dim sum. Your tummy will hate you.
Below are our poorly presented dishes

BBQ Pork Bun: a few stains here and there. Looks like its been consolidated from a few unwanted baskets

Beef Balls: arrived cold, chewy and hard.

Deep Fried Minced Pork Dumpling: thick without a lot of meat. Meat was mushy and of course it was also cold.
Deep Fried Chicken Knee: Amazing how fried food can come out icy cold. Must have sat in the fridge overnight

We had a few other items and it was either cold , sour, and long over its prime. We would not recommend anything from this tourist trap. Not unless you’d like to detox your bowels.
