PLUOY (People Love Us On Yelp) stickers are kind of a big deal, so maybe that’s why we were drawn to PPC in Post Alley (another location is Pacific Place 600 Pine St, Seattle)… The 4.5 stars shop was closed initially when we walked by (opens 11am – 5pm), but we made a mental note to come back before our $24 parking ran out…

This award wining chowder place was pretty good. The New England chowder was creamy, rich and thick. I hate it watery chowders! So this PPC chowder was perfect! Perhaps the only complaint Dave had was that the chowder was slightly salty. The sourdough bread had too much sourdough and I didn’t really enjoy the bread, I’d prefer Premium Plus any day… But there’s a certain comfort factor to their soup.

There are plenty of indoor tables and outside patio. The crab roll look really delicious as the fluffy crab meat spills out of the bun. I’ll have to come back soon to Pikes. I better register their e-club (on their website) to get a free small cup of chowder.

A Chowder Flight (your choice of 4 flavors) for 12 bux! Pretty good sampler if you’re looking for a quick snack! Next stop, some Le Panier, A Very French Bakery <3 and perhaps Starbucks.
